Dalmatians are an active breed of dog who adapt well to many lifestyles. They can make wonderful companions and family pets, but they do need time spent on training. They have a reputation as clowns, but this does not mean delinquents! They should be stable and biddable, and are generally quick to learn and eager to please. They do best with consistent rules, positive training and interactive time with you. It is very true that the more you put in, the more you will get back.

THEY ARE NOT USUALLY SUITED TO A TOTALLY OUTDOOR EXISTENCE. I am very happy to discuss your needs and the suitability of this breed for you. You are committing to my puppy for 12 - 14 years or possibly longer, so you need to be sure.

If you are interested, please email or phone us, so we can discuss things. If you live close enough, you are very welcome to come and meet the dogs, even before we have puppies. We do limit visitors when the puppies are very small to minimise risk of disease, but once they are a bit bigger, you are welcome to visit. It is rarely a case of choosing which puppy you want as we do our best to match personalities to your lifestyle. We will also not guarantee a sale until they are at least 6 weeks, by which stage they will be vet checked and evaluated, and have had their hearing tests. We don't want to disappoint anyone, but we owe it to the puppies to choose their families well for them.

Dalmatian puppies are usually 8 weeks of age before they are ready to move into your lives.
